Objective of position

We’re looking for an experienced Fusion Commercial Manager to lead revenue growth through structured enquiry conversion, smart pricing and long-term B2B partnerships.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is a senior, hands-on commercial role for someone with 5+ years’ B2B sales leadership experience who knows how to turn enquiries into profitable, repeat business. You’ll oversee the end-to-end commercial performance of enquiries and bookings, while working closely with Sales, Operations, Revenue and Guest Services to deliver sustainable growth.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader who enjoys owning performance, improving conversion with a current client.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Commercial leadership & sales performance
  • Lead and manage the commercial enquiry and reservations function to maximise conversion and revenue
  • Embed clear sales processes, KPIs and response standards
  • Personally manage and close high-value or strategic B2B opportunities
  • Drive a performance-led culture with clear accountability
  • B2B sales & relationship management
  • Develop and grow direct B2B relationships across corporate, healthcare, relocation and agent sectors
  • Secure long-term business through fixed-term, volume and framework agreements
  • Maintain and grow key client and agent partnerships
  • Attend client meetings, office visits, fam trips and industry events
  • Pricing, yield & revenue optimisation
  • Work with senior stakeholders to develop and implement pricing and yield strategies
  • Ensure enquiries are converted in line with diary optimisation and best-yield outcomes
  • Analyse booking trends, length of stay, margins and segment performance
  • Balance occupancy, rate and operational constraints
  • Enquiry & reservations management
  • Oversee the full enquiry lifecycle from first contact to confirmation and handover
  • Ensure booking platforms are actively managed with no expired enquiries
  • Enforce same-day (“sun-down”) response standards and clear handovers
  • Maintain data accuracy across PMS and CRM systems
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Act as the commercial bridge between Sales, Operations, Revenue and Guest Services
  • Ensure bookings are delivered smoothly with clear communication and planning
  • Align commercial commitments with operational delivery
  • Reporting, insight & continuous improvement
  • Produce regular reports on conversion, revenue, occupancy and pipeline
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales and commercial leadership
  • Proven success driving enquiry conversion and revenue growth
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, yield and contract negotiation
  • Experience managing teams, targets and performance frameworks
  • Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
  • Analytical, organised and commercially minded
  • Comfortable using CRM, PMS and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in serviced accommodation, hospitality, property or accommodation-led businesses is highly desirable.
